High above, the towers gleam. Far below, the machines never stop turning. Somewhere between them, secrets are waiting to be found. Search the conference for hidden clues, then follow the digital trail using only public information. Bring your head, your hands, and a little heart.

When: November 7, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Central.

How to start

1. Visit the DC940 CTF Table in the main lobby and pick up your welcome card.
2. Register an account on this site.
3. Open the Challenges page, solve the card, and the rest of the city opens up.

The city, in five series

• the-shift: start here. Your first task, handed out at the DC940 CTF Table.
• the-depths: the venue hunt. Search the conference for hidden clues.
• the-hands: social, village and table challenges. Talk to people, visit the villages.
• the-archives: OSINT. Public information only, workable from anywhere at the conference.
• the-machines: technical puzzles for those who like to open things up.

Challenges run from beginner-friendly to advanced, so whether this is your first CTF or your fiftieth, there is something for you. Play solo or as a team. Teams and beginners are welcome. Read the rules before you play.
